By joining IAH, you support an organization that champions the proper use, management, and protection of groundwater. Membership in IAH automatically includes membership in the Kazakhstan National Chapter (KazNC) for persons located in the Kazakhstan Member benefits include:
- Hydrogeology Journal: Members receive a subscription to IAH’s major-cited international journal. Eight issues published each year contain peer-reviewed papers and reports on both theoretical and applied aspects of hydrogeological science, including worldwide progress in techniques and innovations. The first issue of each year focuses on a theme or topic. Members also receive free online access to the full contents of the Journal. Click for more information on the Hydrogeology Journal.
- IAH Global and KazNC Newsletters: These newsletters provide updates about groundwater issues around the world and the activities of the association, including the KazNC. A bimonthly global newsletter is emailed to members and is also posted online. The KazNC provides a Chapter newsletter (2 to 3 times per year) to its members located in the Kazakhstan. - IAH Books and Events: Members receive discounts on IAH books and reduced registration at IAH Congresses and other meetings throughout the world that are sponsored or co-sponsored by IAH or the KazNC.

Support KazNC and IAH Programs
The KazNC has the following ongoing goals:
- Introduce students to global groundwater issues by offering selected students gratis memberships. By introducing them to international issues, we encourage them to use their knowledge and raise other’s awareness of the role groundwater plays in the world’s water resources.
- Help sponsor professional members from developing countries to expand their access to hydrogeological knowledge and to facilitate their application of that knowledge to improve groundwater protection and management in their country.
